Hi there, welcome to the forums!
Feel free to ask any questions, there's lots of people here who can help with advice regarding training and joining the police.
Have you started the recruitment process?

Not really, Ive sent my papers in and all. I havent been back for a practice PAT run in yonks, I know once the recruitment officer feels you have the ability to do the test, then from there... its the waiting game, and then doing your SCOPE

Its a guy called Wayne, he's pretty cool. Ive just recently done mine too.
You should find out when your practice PAT run's are, and go along to it

You should do the Pre-Police course at NZIS in Auckland, its pretty good, they help you get your First aid Certificate, swimming cert and basically help you get fit. And coz your maori, you can apply for the scholarship, check it out
