Thanks for posting those! Light at the end of the tunnel. There's lot's of hard yakka though before that day I'll bet!
I remember now, you were all graduating while we were in Northern Ireland (NZ Police Pipe Band). Sorry about the noise during your final exams........ My turn will come though!

It was his thumb if I remember correctly. I had a broken finger from the same incident, I was tough though and didn't need a cast
Fish did you have a broken bone too from that day in the gym?

I have to admit to holding back the laughter when the national anthem was played... They couldn't have found a cheaper version!

Brent broken his thumb and I cracked the index finger and dislocated my thumb.I think we had a couple of summits to ease the pain that night.
Man our Haka was awesome.

Re: Graduation 2008
That's right. It was a good blow out in the gym that day... Pitty it ended with so many broken bones. The drinks in the bar that night went down a treat though
Our Haka was pretty intense.

That Haka was great. Do the Hakas change every wing? I saw another version out there for the Governor General's Wing early last year.

The college Haka stays the same (actions may change a bit). But we added another one in for us girls to have our turn up front.

It was the only time that they allowed the exercise.
Not sure why. Was a good whey to blow off steam.

I loved it. It was a great exercise. It was just a shame I ended up underneath two very large men.

Re: Graduation 2008
Yep, it was a big occasion. We discussed it prior; I wasn't gonna throw my hat in the air but was persuaded to by the staff, who said you look like a tosser if you don't - I was just concerned with my hat being switched with some other fella's...or fellesses.
So we march out, I throw my hat in the air with a big "yippee!!" - staff didn't say anything about doing stuff like that but I thought it would add to the occasion. Anyway, my hats in the air, along with 78 others, I turn around...and there's one of the boys, sobbing his eyes out!!
He kinda stumbles towards me - I by now had a stunned mullet look on my face - and I quickly retrieved my cap (I'd watched it like a hawk as it fell) and I had no choice but to give him a big man hug, all the while thinking "there, there, you'll be ok...ya big girl".
