I know this has probably been covered somewhere but im just in the process of applying and i had laser surgery on my eyes over 6 months ago and was just wondering when i send in my application do i need to send in both the vision examination report and the Opthalmological Certificate with it and can these both be obtained in the same visit to one of the approved optometrists? and anything else i need to be aware of? Thanks in advance

Send them both in together mate and keep copies. I originally sent the Opthalmological Certificate in after waiting 6 months (had to get it done in Hamilton) then some months later when given clearance had to get the full vision exam from a Tga optometrist and re-sent the Opthalmological Certificate with the newer exam papers. Char made it quite clear when she sent through the documents what she wanted (then they went missing but that's another story).
