Ahahahaha. No mention of whether he was caught, but I doubt he made it much further than where he fell. Idiot, he's still spending the night in a cell but with the added bonus of another charge and very likely some bruises from his fall.
As a side note, has anyone tried (or seen someone) running with hands cuffed behind the back? Much harder than one might think.
