The logo contest is open to all community members and will decide the Official Logo for NZESF!. People with a great idea are encouraged to submit it regardless of their ability to render a final version.
The logo contest will run in the following format...
* All community members are invited to submit logo design concepts for the NZESF forum.
* To enter a design it must be entered as a new thread in the Logo Competition Forum.
* You may add comments and thoughts to entry threads.
* Do not enter a design as a reply to an existing entry's thread.
* The NZESF moderators (who have not entered in the competition) will then consider all entries and vote on a group of five finalists.
* The community will then be given the opportunity to vote for their favourite logo design concept from the five finalists.
* We reserve the right to have the wining concept further developed by our creative team.
* The closing date for entries will be 2000hrs Saturday 5th July 2008.
* Finalists to be announced and the community vote will commence once the five finalists have been determined. All forum members will be able to vote once for their favourite logo.
* The logo with the highest number of votes after two weeks will become the official NZESF logo.
* The winner will be announced on the NZESFforum.
Additional rules for people wishing to enter the NZESF logo contest...
* All submitted work must be original and not based on any pre-exisiting design.
* Due to the Flags, Emblems, and Names Protection Act 1981... No official logos, in full or in part, are able to be used.
* If your entry produces problems due to potential similarities to existing trademarks or official logos it will not be considered.
* By entering a logo design you agree to transfer the copyright on the design to the NZESF project should your design win.
* Entries can either be a full banner logo similar to the one above, or a stand alone logo which can be slotted in with the current banner.
* Entries must be able to incorporate the current orange format.
Unfortunately we have no prize to offer as the site is run out of the goodness of our hearts. However you do get bragging rights and a position on the NZESF team with the title of Graphic Desinger
