Hi, my name is Jonno. I am currently going through the police recruitment process in New Plymouth. Have passed most of the criteria, still required to sit the typing test, pass the medical and have my enquiries done. I am employed at Howard Wright Ltd as a leading hand and CNC operator, we manufacture hospital beds mostly for NZ and Australia. Have been married for 3 years and have a 19 month old daughter.

hey, thanks for joining the forums.
congratulations on getting through the recruitment process so far, looks like you've only got the easy stuff left Wink (excluding police college)

have you done SCOPE, and how did you find it?

Completed SCOPE last year. Loved it!! Experienced a large variety including a firearms incident, drunks fighting in town, to helping a lady trapped in public toilets.

I was lucky enough to be on a section where one of the females was fresh out of college, so managed to pick her brains about the whole process which was a big help.

Poor lady, she was stuck in the toilets at the beach. The door latch had stripped in the lock position. She was more worried about the kids left in the car with a feed of fish n chips than herself. Very Happy
